Today I'm sharing a card I made featuring the Favor Bag Accessories - Dog - Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant. I absolutely love all of the different pups you can create from these dies! So adorable! But of course for my first time using these products I had to go with a pup that looks like my Pepper :)
If you follow me on Facebook then you know that Pepper has been recovering from several shoulder injuries. Over the past three months we've consulted with several vets and orthopedic specialists here in Colorado, and Pepper has been through lots of physical exams, imaging, procedures/treatments, forced rest and physical therapy. Throughout this entire time our dear friend, who is a vet and teaches at LSU's Vet School in Louisiana, has been an incredible help to us. Orthopedics is not her specialty, but each step along the way she's consulted with her colleagues who do specialize in orthopedics and together they've provided an additional set of professional opinions that have really helped in easing our minds and guiding us down an appropriate path for Pepper's treatment/recovery. This card is going to our friend and her colleagues along with a basket full of goodies. We will never be able to thank them enough. These people work crazy hours and have so much going on in their own lives, yet they took the time to help us. We will be forever grateful for their kindness. And I'm happy to report that we were recently given the go-ahead from the orthopedic specialist here in Colorado to slowly start ramping up Pepper's activity level. She's doing really well so far and loves being back out on the trails. I'll post some photos soon!

I'm so sorry Pepper is having shoulder problems. It is wonderful when people go above and beyond to help you and yours have done that. This is a perfect card to thank them. Cute as can be. I hope Pepper continues to recover and get stronger.
Lisa an adorable image and such a cute cute card! Reminds me of Pepper! So happy to hear that she is on the road to recovery--oh what you have been through.
